With so many different recruitment agencies out there, how do you know which temp agency to go for?
We would advise being clear on what it is that you want to do. Once you know, perform a local search: be specific in your search terms. For example, if you are looking for a temporary warehouse operative job in Buckinghamshire, then that’s what you need to type in. The more specific your search, the closer the match will be.
Choose a local agency, or at least one with a branch locally. If they are a good agency they will require you to come in for an interview.
You should look for a professional agency, one that offers ongoing support and training. After all, you should be important to them.
Do they call you back? If you don’t hear from an agency, it’s unlikely they are going to be supportive should you need their help. Remember, temporary workers are paid by the agency and not the employer. You need to have a contactable recruitment agency.
